Chiikawa Pocket ("Chiipoke"), the first smartphone app based on Chiikawa, is bringing its pop-up store experience to more cities with a new "Chiikawa Pocket mini POP UP STORE" series, opening in locations across Japan from Friday, September 18, 2026.
Chiikawa Pocket is a smartphone game app based on the popular manga series Chiikawa, created by illustrator Nagano and originally posted on X (formerly Twitter). Built around the concept of being always together with the Chiikawa characters, anytime and anywhere, the app offers a collection of activities that capture the world of Chiikawa. It has been available since March 27, 2025, in 43 countries and regions worldwide.
"Chiikawa Pocket mini POP UP STORE" Opens in Sapporo on September 18
Following the popularity of the "Chiikawa Pocket POP UP STORE," which has been held at five locations nationwide so far, a new "Chiikawa Pocket mini POP UP STORE" is now set to tour additional cities so that more fans can enjoy the experience.
The mini POP UP STORE will offer items previously sold at past stores*. For the very first stop in Sapporo, the third round of official Chiipoke merchandise will also be available.
Fans in areas that have been difficult to visit before will now have the chance to pick up Chiipoke's charming merchandise in person, so organizers invite everyone to stop by.
*Some items may not be available.

About Chiikawa
Chiikawa is a popular manga series created by illustrator Nagano, posted on X (formerly Twitter). The fun, bittersweet, and sometimes tough everyday stories of the Chiikawa characters have won a wide following from adults to children, and the series' X account has surpassed 5 million followers to date.
