Choshi Electric Railway's "Tetsudou Musume" character Togawa Tsukushi and Kotsu Shinbunsha's "Tetsudou Musume" character Hayami Daiya both share a May 1st birthday. To mark the occasion, a second annual birthday collaboration event — the Togawa Tsukushi & Hayami Daiya Birthday Collaboration 2026 — is set to take place from May 1 to 10.

Building on last year's successful event, the 2026 collaboration brings back commemorative headmarks, limited-edition tickets, and life-size character panels—along with brand-new collaborative merchandise. Golden Week is a great opportunity to visit Choshi and celebrate the two characters' birthdays in person.
① Commemorative Headmarks
Two types of commemorative headmarks will be displayed on one train formation.

Note: Service on this formation is not guaranteed due to maintenance or operational requirements. A "Togawa Tsukushi" headmark is also planned for display on a separate formation.

A limited-quantity commemorative hardboard ticket (D-type, one ticket with mount) is available for purchase.

④ Life-Size Character Panels & Stamp
Life-size character panels of both Togawa Tsukushi and Hayami Daiya will be on display at Inubou Station. A special Hayami Daiya stamp is also set up at the same location.

Collaborative merchandise featuring the commemorative headmark designs goes on sale alongside a lineup of Hayami Daiya items at Inubou Station. One Hayami Daiya business card is given to each customer who purchases collaborative or Hayami Daiya merchandise.
