CHUBBY’S CLUB, the plus-size casual apparel brand launched in 2025 by Sakazen Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Murakami), is releasing a collaboration collection with DOMDOM HAMBURGER, operated by DOMDOM Food Service Co., Ltd., on July 17, 2026.

Items will be available for purchase starting Friday, July 17, 2026, through the special collaboration website.

Background of the Collaboration

A manufacturer holding the DOMDOM HAMBURGER license had previously proposed working together on something fun, but at the time Sakazen did not yet have a brand that could fully express DOMDOM HAMBURGER's distinctive sense of excitement and endearing world.

Unwilling to compromise on the final product, the team once decided to shelve the idea.

The turning point came last year, when CHUBBY’S CLUB debuted as a new brand bringing fresh playfulness and happiness to the basic apparel Sakazen has long offered.

With the concepts of "full appetite" and "positive wear the world had never seen," the brand convinced the team it was finally the right home to bring DOMDOM HAMBURGER's world to life.

The team reached out to the manufacturer again to restart the once-shelved project, and this July, after weaving together the "happy DNA" of both brands, the collaboration collection is finally ready for release.

Brand Concept

True to its concept, the brand offers clothing that people of all ages and genders can enjoy.

CHUBBY’S CLUB was born from the concept that plus-size clothing can be cute and stylish too, offering positive wear the world hasn't seen before.

Sakazen has long offered functional, easy-to-wear basics in plus sizes. Wanting more people to express their own individuality, the brand was created to become a new icon of plus-size fashion.

The brand hopes people of all ages and genders can enjoy fashion, with playful designs that make you want to snap a photo, all built around the theme of "happy clothing."
