About the Collar X Malice Series

Collar X Malice is one of Otomate's signature romance adventure games for women, with its first title released in 2016. Set in a dangerous version of Shinjuku plagued by a series of vicious crimes known as the "X-Day Incidents," the tense suspense love story follows a police officer as she works alongside a group of men independently pursuing the same case to solve it.

Following the original 2016 release, a fan disc titled Collar X Malice -Unlimited- launched in 2018, and the series has since been ported to platforms including PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch. It was adapted into a stage play in 2019, followed by a two-part theatrical anime film, Collar X Malice -deep cover-, in 2023 — expanding well beyond games into a wide range of cross-media projects. Now marking its 10th anniversary, the series continues to enjoy passionate support from many female fans.
