A free demo of the new adventure game Diss Diss Discussion (ディスディスディスカッション) is now available on Steam. Bushiroad and Frontwing Lab (フロントウイングラボ) began distributing the demo on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The full game is scheduled for release in early 2027.
The game is based on stage plays by Yuu Tomisaka (冨坂友) of Aga-risk Entertainment. Ahead of the full release, the demo lets players try part of the debates and youthful moments of a cast of distinctive students at Kohnodai High School (鴻之台高校), a school modeled on a real high school.
About the Game
Modeled on a real high school, Diss Diss Discussion is a school ensemble-drama adventure game based on stage plays that depict debates and conflicts among students, including Naigen (ナイゲン) and Iza, Seito Sokai (いざ、生徒総会).
The original story and scenario are by Yuu Tomisaka (冨坂友) of Aga-risk Entertainment, and the character designs and original art are by Takuya Fujima (藤真拓哉), who also worked on the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series.
The story takes place at Kohnodai High School (鴻之台高校), where students uphold self-governance and autonomy. As students with different positions and motives trade reasoning and quibbles in their debates, each one's true feelings and thoughts come to the surface. It is a slightly offbeat and slightly dazzling ensemble tale of youth in which words and emotions swirl together.

Story
"That's exactly why you're not popular!"
The story is set at Kohnodai High School (鴻之台高校), which upholds "self-governance and autonomy." One day, charismatic student council president Risa Sakurai (櫻井梨沙) proposes making school uniforms optional, and the school is pulled into a huge debate.
The cast includes:
- Ryo Hiyama (檜山亮): the protagonist and vice president, who wants to keep admiring his senpai in her uniform
- Ai Hasumi (蓮見愛): the secretary, who secretly has feelings for him
- Tsubasa Sakakibara (榊原翼): a student determined to protect a certain secret at all costs
- Chinatsu Kashino (樫野千夏): a student who wants to learn her boyfriend's secret
- Shoko Komatsu (小松祥子): the long-suffering audit committee chair
These characters each have plenty of quirks, and their reasoning and emotions clash head-on at the student general assembly.
Over the school festival, the circumstances and true feelings of the class representatives explode. At Naigen (ナイゲン, a content-limited meeting), where students push the attractions they don't want to run onto one another, wild quibbles fly back and forth.
Where will this meeting lead? And what will become of Hiyama's love life? Diss Diss Discussion, a youth ensemble drama of quibbling logic, is about to begin.

逢沢光明 (Ryo Hiyama)
I played Ryo Hiyama. I remember thinking, "He's a lot like me..." when I first saw him.
I felt a kinship with his slightly indecisive, clumsy side that tends to spin its wheels, and I took on the recording while remembering my school days.
The slapstick story of love and laughter was full of exchanges that made me chuckle, and I had a lot of fun.

首藤志奈 (Risa Sakurai)
It was a type of role I had never played before, so I was very happy to be entrusted with it.
At first, Risa was someone to look up to as a perfect student council president, but as I read through the script, she became someone I wanted to cheer on more and more.
I think the exchanges and relationships that come from every character having their own thoughts and beliefs are also a big part of the game's appeal.
I would be happy if you enjoy the youth woven by the distinctive characters, starting with Risa!
遠野ひかる (Ai Hasumi)
I am 遠野ひかる, and I voice Ai Hasumi.
The charm of this game is the discussions that erupt over the various problems inside the school!
