On October 2, 2026 (Friday, JST), CAVE released a major update (Version 1.1.0) for DoDonPachi Resurrection Reignite (新約・怒首領蜂大復活), the latest title in its bullet hell shooter series. The update adds a Training Mode. The game also joined the Steam Autumn Sale, which started the same day, and is now on sale at a limited-time special price.

The game is the latest release in the series and includes a number of new features, starting with "Danmaku Battle Mode Royale" (弾幕対戦モード ロワイヤル), a series-first multiplayer mode for up to 10 players with worldwide support. The new update adds the Training Mode, a feature many players had requested, to provide an environment for playing the game in greater depth.
Version 1.1.0 Update Adds a Training Mode
The update introduces a Training Mode that lets players practice and build patterns at their own pace. It supports all stages, including the new stage "AREA6," so players can also focus their practice on a specific AREA. The number of coins earned in Grade Match (グレードマッチ) has also been revised upward.
Further major updates are planned to roll out in stages through the winter.

November 2026: AREA6 unlocked in Royale
The new stage "AREA6" will be added to "Royale," the 10-player simultaneous battle mode new to this title, offering a different kind of challenge from Arcade Mode. The places where coins can be earned in the various modes will also be expanded, and matchmaking wait times will be adjusted, with these changes made in stages.
This winter: "Black Label (BL)" added
"Black Label," a minor-change version of DoDonPachi Resurrection (怒首領蜂大復活) that was well received in arcades, will be added with AREA6, new AREA6 BGM, and Assist Mode.
Steam Autumn Sale: 10% Off for a Limited Time

Multiplayer for Up to 10 Players: Danmaku Battle Mode "Royale"
For the first time in the DoDonPachi series, up to 10 players can play together. All players play at the same time in a survival battle (royale). Players use items while aiming for a high ranking, enjoying the bullet hell shooter alongside multiple other players.
New Characters and CV
The game features new characters as well as familiar characters such as the "Element Doll" (エレメントドール) and "Element Daughter" (エレメントドーター). Character voices (CV) bring out each character's personality. Character designs continue to be handled by 緒方剛志, who worked on DoDonPachi Resurrection (怒首領蜂大復活).
