Going forward, further content is planned to expand on the fun of teamwork and growth, including an "Alliance Raid" and a new ally that joins players in battle, the "Cat Pet" (ネコペット).
What Is E.D.E.N : The Last Line?
E.D.E.N : The Last Line is a bishoujo roguelike tower defense RPG in which players defend humanity's last line of defense against the mysterious "Erosion" (侵食体). Players take on the role of a Commander at "Lumina Academy" (ルミナ学園), where girls with special abilities gather, leading students with distinct personalities and weapons to fend off waves of enemies.
Combat follows a roguelike structure in which players pick one of three cards offered on each level-up to strengthen their skills. The game requires no complex controls and can be played comfortably with one hand, while still offering strategic depth through card combinations and character formations. "Synergy Skills," triggered by training certain characters together, can transform an entire battle style and add to the enjoyment of collecting and training a wide variety of students.
Since its global release in March 2026, the game has found particularly strong support in Japan, which has grown into E.D.E.N : The Last Line's largest market. Its distinctive characters and world, along with a story that deepens through interaction with characters, have won over subculture fans.
New Co-op Content: The "Alliance" System
This update adds a new "Alliance" system that lets Commanders team up with others. An Alliance is more than a simple community feature — it's built as the foundation for long-term co-op content in which members work together to grow the Alliance and earn a variety of rewards.
Within an Alliance, Commanders can interact with each other, and completing daily logins and weekly missions earns "Alliance Contribution" and "Alliance Coins." As members stay active, the Alliance grows, and the Alliance Coins earned can be spent at the "Alliance Shop" on various training items. Playing certain content also generates an "Alliance Gift," a system in which each member's activity feeds into rewards for the whole Alliance.

What's Next: "Alliance Raid" and "Cat Pet"

It's being designed to keep the barrier to entry low while still rewarding players who make use of character training, team building, and card setups to chase higher records.
Bosses will come in multiple types with different weaknesses, calling for a variety of character types depending on which boss appears. This is meant to give players a new goal for training and using the many different students they own, rather than relying on one particular character or formation.
After Alliance Raid, a "Cat Pet" system to support players in battle is planned. Cat Pets won't be mere decorations — they will join players as new allies in battle, adding a new layer of collecting and training on top of the student-centered growth and team building players already know.
What's Ahead for E.D.E.N : The Last Line
E.D.E.N : The Last Line will keep expanding its content so that the fun of collecting and training characters continues to drive long-term play. Starting with this Alliance system, the game aims to strengthen the link between individual character growth and Alliance-wide achievement, developing into a game where solo battles and content enjoyed together with fellow Commanders naturally coexist.
