Shochiku Co., Ltd.'s game division (Shochiku Games) will publish Estella, a music rhythm game from the Taiwanese development team Imanity, bringing an early access release to PC (Steam) this winter.
Ahead of the winter release on Steam, Estella will also be exhibited at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 (TGS2026), running from Thursday, September 17 to Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), 2026. The booth will offer a playable, limited-time demo that adds new songs to the currently available trial version, giving visitors an early look at the game ahead of its winter release.
Visitors to the show will be among the first to experience the world of Estella.
About Estella
Your fingertips become a comet, traveling through the cosmos.
Estella is a 3D music rhythm game set in space, played with a mouse and keyboard for a new kind of rhythm-game experience.
An octagonal interface and three-dimensional effects that sync with each track's rise and fall create the sensation of racing through space as a comet.
Each planet forms one chapter, with its story told in visual novel format. Cinematic direction and detailed character writing blend the rhythm gameplay with narrative for an adventure that combines the two.
The early access version, planned for release this winter, will include about 40 songs, some written specifically for the game, along with Chapter 1, which tells the story of Erina, the first protagonist chosen as the "golden comet" (Estella).
