Ahead of the August 20, 2026 release of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, Akihabara is preparing for a store-wide "Akiba Jack" campaign starting August 17, along with a free livestreamed studio talk and mini live on August 15.
Akiba Jack Campaign Takes Over Akihabara
Starting August 17 (Monday) through September 6 (Sunday), 2026, the "STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT" x "Akikaru" Akiba Jack campaign will run across Akihabara, the neighborhood where the story is set.
Participating storefronts will display nine designs of nobori banners — one featuring the game's package art and eight featuring the individual Lab Members. At each participating store, customers who spend ¥700 or more and mention "Steins;Gate" to staff will receive, on a first-come, first-served basis, a free postcard in one of eight random designs, while supplies last.

The campaign coincides with the game's August 20 release and a pop-up event at Belle Salle Akihabara on August 29 and 30, giving fans another reason to feel the Steins;Gate atmosphere around Akihabara during this period.
Studio Talk and Mini Live Streaming August 15
To mark the release of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, a special program will stream live for free on August 15 (Saturday), 2026, starting at 7:00 PM.
Vocalist Kanako Ito, known for the series' theme songs, will perform a mini live of STEINS;GATE music, followed by a staff talk MC'd by Haruko Momoi, the voice of Faris NyanNyan. Producer Tatsuya Matsubara will be joined by other staff members to share behind-the-scenes development stories and highlights specific to the RE:BOOT version. Viewing is free, and fans are invited to tune in and join in through comments.
