Ferragamo is introducing a new leather goods collection, the "Ferragamo Cara Bag," combining a sculptural design with the maison's outstanding Italian craftsmanship.
The Ferragamo Cara Bag is conceived as an ideal companion for every woman. Rather than being just a bag, it carries a message of cherishing oneself. The name "Cara" means "precious" and "beloved," reflecting the singular value each woman who carries it holds.
First revealed on the runway of the 2026 Fall/Winter collection, the Ferragamo Cara Bag is defined by an architectural silhouette and a refined structure. A three-layer accordion design creates a striking form, while storage that naturally expands delivers strong capacity and functional ease of use. Inside, a central zippered compartment is joined by compartments on both sides, a hidden zip pocket beneath the flap, and a slip pocket at the back, achieving practicality without compromising the design's refinement.
At the center of the bag sits Ferragamo's iconic Gancini closure. Blending naturally into the bag's minimal lines, it stands out as a signature detail that embodies both functionality and the maison's identity.
Made with fine smooth calfskin leather, the Ferragamo Cara Bag symbolizes the leather craftsmanship Ferragamo has cultivated over the years. Each bag is built from more than 100 parts, including 25 precisely cut leather panels, and takes a skilled artisan around 10 hours to complete. More than 23 meters of thread go into the construction process, reflecting the precision and care behind every detail.
Colors and materials draw inspiration from the runway collection's lineup. Alongside smooth calfskin, eel leather and alligator leather each bring their own distinct character while highlighting the beautiful silhouette that defines the Ferragamo Cara Bag.
