Fruit of the Loom × Keiji Kaneko's New ATHLETIC FORMAL DOUBLE SUIT Launching February 21

Garrett Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Nagoya; Representative Director: Yu Tanaka) announces the release of the ATHLETIC FORMAL DOUBLE SUIT, developed in collaboration with Fashion Director Keiji Kaneko and Kosuke Kambara, who directs Fruit of the Loom at Garrett. This new product follows the ATHLETIC FORMAL SUIT released in 2025.

The original ATHLETIC FORMAL SUIT featured a tailored jacket and pants set made from jersey fabric typically used in T-shirts. This evolution upgrades to a double-breasted jacket and two-tuck pants, creating a more formal style.

The new product will be available at stores nationwide and online on the following dates.

The ATHLETIC FORMAL DOUBLE SUIT was completed after creating and revising samples four times.

It features the same heavyweight 100% cotton 12-ounce jersey fabric as before.

This design fuses the functionality of the ATHLETIC SUIT with the aesthetic of a classic formal jacket, achieving both ease of movement and refined appearance.

It proposes a new setup style that effortlessly crosses the boundary between on and off. The suit can be worn as a complete set or styled with the jacket and pants separately to expand your styling options.

This new release further evolves the ATHLETIC FORMAL SUIT concept, presenting a contemporary yet timeless design.

JACKET

A classic double-breasted, 4-button 1-fasten jacket. The collar features peaked lapels with carefully designed lapel width and pointed edges to create a classic vintage expression. The lapel construction requires sewing four layers of 12-ounce fabric when including the folded sections, showcasing Fruit of the Loom's high technical skill in executing the clean stitching. The pockets feature patch pockets on both sides. While maintaining a classic appearance, the silhouette is versatile enough to look great whether worn fitted or oversized.

PANTS

Designed based on the ATHLETIC FORMAL SUIT PANTS, these pants feature elaborate construction details. The waist has gathered fabric with two outward tucks, providing room around the hips, and the silhouette tapers beautifully toward the hem. In addition to side pockets on both sides, there's a single-welted pocket on the right rear. These pants combine functionality with a formal aesthetic, creating a highly refined piece.
