Japan Designer Academy (Nihon Designer Gakuin) in Shibuya is hosting a special illustration making session as part of its open campus program on Sunday, March 22, 2026, featuring illustrator fuzichoco as a guest instructor.
The session takes the form of a live making demonstration, with fuzichoco painting in real time in front of attendees. The focus is on coloring techniques, giving participants the chance to observe up close fuzichoco's dynamic brushwork and the methods used to achieve a sense of depth and texture. There will also be time for stories about the creative process.
The event is open to high school students considering their future path, people interested in illustration, manga, or animation, as well as working adults — anyone is welcome. For those unable to attend in person, a simultaneous online stream will also be available.
