Gintama Sumaho Battle Chronicle Launches the Benizakura Arc Story Event

The iOS/Android RPG Gintama Sumaho Battle Chronicle, developed by SEGA and NextNinja, has launched its second story event — the Benizakura Arc — starting March 9, 2026.

The Benizakura Arc event introduces a new set of limited-time quests. By completing these quests, players can collect "Story Chronicle Coins," which can then be exchanged for a range of rewards including gacha tickets and materials needed to obtain equipment for pickup characters.

To celebrate the Benizakura Arc event, a special gacha featuring increased appearance rates for "SSR [Benizakura] Takasugi Shinsuke" and his "SS [Benizakura] Takasugi Shinsuke Equipment" is now live. Additional pickup gachas featuring characters from this story event are also planned to roll out in sequence.

March New Life Sale

A special March sale is running in the in-game shop ("Store"). Items available include a "New Life Support Ginshou Pack" offering premium gacha tickets and in-game currency "Ginshou" at discounted prices, as well as a bundle that grants enough currency for up to 181 gacha pulls.
