A special POP UP CORNER dedicated to Gintama: Yoshiwara in Flames is coming to 100 select GEO stores across Japan. Running from May 29, 2026 (Friday) to June 19, 2026 (Friday), the corner will carry a range of goods featuring newly drawn illustrations based on the film, along with a special bonus gift for qualifying purchases.

Merchandise Lineup
The lineup features newly commissioned illustrations of 8 characters from Gintama: Yoshiwara in Flames – Gintoki Sakata, Shinpachi Shimura, Kagura, Kamui, Tsukuyo, Toshiro Hijikata, Sougo Okita, and Kotaro Katsura – each depicted holding a teruteru bozu (traditional Japanese doll used to wish for good weather). A separate series of chibi-style illustrations with a rainy season theme is also available.

About Gintama
Gintama (story and art by Hideaki Sorachi, published by Shueisha in Jump Comics) ran in Weekly Shonen Jump and has sold over 73 million copies worldwide, including digital editions. The series blends slapstick comedy with intense action and heartfelt storytelling, and has been adapted into TV anime, theatrical films, and live-action movies.
A spin-off anime, 3-nen Z-gumi Ginkachi Sensei, based on the novel by Tomohito Ohzaki, began broadcasting on TV Tokyo in October 2025. The theatrical film Gintama: Yoshiwara in Flames opened in February 2026.
