Yugen Kaisha AKROS (Chuo-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Rei Naka) is releasing a reversible sukajan jacket as official apparel for the anime Girls Band Cry. Preorders open July 10 through the AKROS official site and Animate Online, ahead of a release in late October. The jacket is priced at ¥35,200 (tax included) and comes in unisex sizes M to XXL.
Designed as an outer layer that lets fans wear the world of the anime in everyday life, the jacket is tailored with dimensional embroidery and satin fabric, combining two different designs in one reversible piece.
Episode 11, "The Center of the World": One Stage's Energy in a Single Jacket
In Episode 11, "The Center of the World," Nina Iseri takes the stage at BAYCAMP and delivers a passionate performance of "Emptiness and Catharsis." The happi-coat design worn in that stage costume has been reimagined here as a traditional Japanese sukajan jacket.
Rather than simply recreating the costume, the jacket is tailored to bring that on-stage energy into everyday wear, designed to stand out as the centerpiece of any outfit.

Side A: A Back That Steals the Show, With Fully Embroidered "Hannya"
Side A features the pattern from the stage costume embroidered at the chest, while the back carries dimensional, fully embroidered artwork of a hannya mask alongside the kanji for bōjakubujin (roughly, "bold and unrestrained"). A slightly stiff satin fabric brings out the shadow and depth of the raised embroidery, creating a rich texture that shifts with the angle and light. The result reads more polished than casual, even worn day to day.

Bringing the energy of the BAYCAMP stage into everyday life — perfect for concerts and events, and for daily wear.
Side B: A Printed Illustration of All Five Band Members
The reverse side has the embroidered TOGENASHI TOGEARI band logo at the chest and a printed illustration of all five members on stage across the back. Made from smooth, glossy satin that catches a soft sheen depending on the angle of light, this side offers a more vivid, eye-catching look than the fully embroidered side.

The satin's glossy sheen brings out the illustration of all five members on stage.
Wear It All Season Long, From Everyday Outings to Special Occasions
Wear it on its own as an outer layer in spring and fall, or layer it over a knit or hoodie in winter. With a relaxed, unisex silhouette, it suits any wearer regardless of gender.
It works just as well for everyday outings as it does at festivals, live shows, and events — a design born on stage that's made to be worn at the venue, too.
Whether it's the weighty, fully embroidered side or the vivid printed side, the jacket can be styled freely across seasons, letting fans wear the world of Girls Band Cry every day.

About Girls Band Cry
Girls Band Cry follows Nina Iseri, a high school dropout who moves to Tokyo alone. There, she meets Momoka Kawaragi, Subaru Awa, Tomo Ebizuka, and Rupa, and together they form the band TOGENASHI TOGEARI. The series won passionate support online for its portrayal of the characters' struggles with harsh reality and clashing emotions as they keep pushing forward, and it dominated conversation weekly after the TV anime began airing, trending No. 1 on X for seven consecutive weeks from episode 7 through the finale.
Riding that momentum, cumulative shipments of the Blu-ray & DVD Volume 1 topped 23,000 copies, and a theatrical compilation film re-edited from the TV series is now on its way to theaters.
