Toho Co., Ltd. (Tokyo, Chiyoda-ku; President: Hiroyasu Matsuoka) will relocate and reopen Godzilla's official store, "Godzilla Store Umeda," on April 6, 2026, at NU Chayamachi 7F in Osaka's Umeda district.
The current Godzilla Store Umeda, operating at Daimaru Umeda 5F, will close on March 9, 2026, due to large-scale renovation work at the South Gate Building where Daimaru Umeda is located. Following this closure, the store has decided to relocate to NU Chayamachi. A massive statue of "Godzilla (2023) Heat Ray Version" with blue-glowing dorsal fins, exclusive to this location, will be positioned in the store, welcoming customers to the magnificent world of Godzilla.
Expanding Godzilla Store Network Domestically and Internationally
Godzilla's official store, "Godzilla Store," currently operates five locations in Tokyo and Osaka. Last September, the first overseas location, "Godzilla Store Taipei," opened, followed by the second international store, "Godzilla Store Malaysia," in January this year. Additionally, the opening of "Godzilla Store Hakata" in Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on April 6, 2026, was recently announced. The stores have been extremely well-received by many Godzilla fans both domestically and internationally, serving as venues where visitors can experience the Godzilla brand firsthand.

With the recent announcement of the release date for the latest Godzilla film, director Takashi Yamazaki's "Godzilla -0.0" (scheduled for release on November 3, 2026, Tuesday - a public holiday), anticipation continues to build.
