About the Wine
The name "Tourou" (橙露) carries the wish for the wine to serve as a quiet, gentle presence in everyday life — like a soft light glowing amid the bustle of daily routines. The wine offers the layered aromas characteristic of orange wines, with a smooth, lingering finish that gradually reveals itself.
The Swailife edition was released after an aging period of more than six months, setting it apart from the other stores in the project. This extended aging brings a more settled character and added depth to the wine's fragrance.
Label Artwork
The Swailife version features original label artwork by illustrator marie, who creates pieces centered on figures seen from behind. Rather than showing faces, the compositions invite the viewer's imagination to fill in the story — a quiet resonance that mirrors the wine's own contemplative nature.
The Three-Store Joint Project
This release is part of a collaborative project involving three Tokyo wine shops: Caliquors Tokyo, Hinowa Base, and Swailife Wine Shop. The wine itself is the same across all three stores, but each shop partnered with a different artist and created its own exclusive label design, with 300 bottles allocated per store. The release timing also varies, meaning the same wine can offer different expressions depending on when and where it was purchased.
