The German barefoot shoe brand GROUNDIES will release its 26FW (Fall/Winter 2026) collection in stages starting Thursday, October 22, 2026. Barefoot shoes often come with limited options that suit everyday outfits, but GROUNDIES aims to offer new autumn and winter choices for everyone living a city life.
About the 26FW Collection
This season's lineup covers seven categories — ballet flats, boots, formal, sneakers, outdoor, sports and kids — with 23 models in total. Centered on boots, the mainstay of autumn and winter, many new models and new colors join the lineup to suit a wide range of everyday situations and the changing seasons.
Every model uses the TrueSense® sole, which has zero drop, meaning there is no height difference between the heel and the forefoot. Its thin, flexible structure lets wearers feel the ground and walk naturally. Lightweight outsole patterns of different thicknesses are used depending on the purpose, offering a suitable pair for each occasion.

New: Curve
A minimal ballet flat that combines feminine styling with a barefoot fit. It comes in two materials: glossy goatskin nappa leather and soft suede. The heel can be folded down, so the shoes can be worn outdoors as well as indoors at the office or at home, making them a pair that can be switched between settings.

A short boot with a clean, streamlined silhouette. "Trento" is a derby shoe that combines a classic look with a barefoot fit. Its clean lace-up design pairs naturally with jackets as well as with denim or chinos. With a barefoot fit that does not hinder the foot's natural movement and a zero-drop design, it is meant to stay comfortable all day, even on days that call for a polished outfit.

Proprietary "TrueSense®" Outsole
The proprietary sole technology "TrueSense®" is used across the entire collection. The soles are optimized for each purpose, and all of them have an ultra-thin, flexible structure that lets wearers feel the ground directly while supporting the natural movement of the foot.
Two Fit Variations
GROUNDIES offers two types of lasts. Of these, "Barefoot+" is the one that pursues the barefoot ideal of freeing the toes. Based on anatomy, the toe area fans out, so each toe can move freely and wearers can feel as if they are gripping the ground firmly.
Handmade, One Pair at a Time
Every product comes from strict quality standards and a design philosophy that pays attention to every detail. The leather is sourced in Europe. The carefully selected materials are finished into barefoot shoes one pair at a time by craftspeople at long-established shoe factories in Portugal and Vietnam.
