Melting Pot Harapecolab Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, hereafter Harapecolab), known for creating products under the theme "Playing with Art as Food," produced an original kohakuto candy called "Ascha Kohakuto" for Tinder®'s limited-time pop-up event "ASTRO CHAT LOUNGE – Where a Horoscope Sparks the Conversation." The candy brought the world of Tinder's new "Astrology Mode" feature to life, and was handed out to visitors who downloaded the Tinder app and set up Astrology Mode at the event.
The event was planned and run by ORANGE SENSE, Inc., which selected Harapecolab as its production partner to create a novelty that could let attendees experience the "Astrology Mode" world in a tangible way, resulting in the event-exclusive "Ascha Kohakuto."
The event ran from Thursday, June 18 to Monday, June 22, 2026, at OPENBASE SHIBUYA in Shibuya, Tokyo. The venue featured a range of content, including a photo spot where conversations could start from horoscope talk and an astrology reading booth, and many visitors enjoyed the world of star signs and astrology.

Star Signs and Encounters, Expressed Through the Sparkle of Kohakuto
Harapecolab's signature product is "Kobutsu Okashi," a kohakuto candy cut into shapes resembling minerals and gemstones, with a crisp outer layer, a soft interior, and delicate facets that catch the light. For "Ascha Kohakuto," the candy was designed around the four classical elements of Western astrology — fire, water, wind, and earth — to express the mysterious imagery of astrology and star signs, along with Tinder's idea of a horoscope as a conversation starter. The candy was created so that people who happened to meet could start a conversation from talk of star signs, and so that a small moment of surprise or excitement would arise the instant someone picked one up, adding a touch of color to the event experience.
