Hard Rock Cafe is running a limited-time menu campaign titled "Taste the Philippines – 70 Years of Friendship" at its Tokyo, Yokohama, and Universal CityWalk Osaka locations (excluding the Ueno Station Tokyo and Kyoto locations) from June 1 (Monday) to June 14 (Sunday), 2026.
The campaign was made possible through a tie-up with the Philippines Department of Tourism and the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Japan, timed to coincide with Philippine Independence Day on June 12. The idea is to offer guests a taste of the Philippines — a kind of culinary journey to the islands — without leaving Japan. This year also marks the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines, and the campaign aims to deepen cultural exchange and spotlight the appeal of Filipino culture.
The lineup features four items — two dishes and two drinks — each rooted in Filipino traditional and home-style cooking with a Hard Rock Cafe touch.
On the food side, the Fish Lumpia is a Filipino-style fried spring roll filled with cod, carrots, and aromatic vegetables, served with optional sweet chili vinegar. The Adobo Style Pork Sandwich features pork slow-braised in a soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic-based adobo marinade, paired with sautéed ginisang pechay (bok choy), banana ketchup mayo, and Monterey Jack cheese, all served in a soft French roll.

For drinks, the Mango Mojito combines dark rum with fresh mint, lime, and mango, finished with club soda. The Tropical No-Heat is a non-alcoholic take featuring fresh mint, lime, and mango for a refreshing tropical mocktail. Both are well-suited for the summer season and bring a tropical flair to the table.
