Sakai Green Museum Harvest Hill, an agricultural experience park in Minami Ward, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, will hold its illumination event "Wonder Night Hill 2026-2027" again this year.
Glowing capybaras and sheep greet visitors. Besides photo spots such as a sparkling sequoia tree more than 15 meters tall and a rainbow tunnel, there are plenty of interactive displays, including glowing seesaws and light steps that make sounds.
Some attractions, such as the grass slide, novelty bicycles, and Ferris wheel, are lit up and open for business. On some dates, events such as a "bubble show" and "sky lanterns" are also planned. The dog run is illuminated as well, so visitors can enjoy the illuminations with their dogs.
This year also features a collaboration illumination with Sylvanian Families.

Area Guide
New Area: "Flower Milky Way" (花の天の川)
Colorful tulips and sparkling butterfly illuminations make up the "Flower Milky Way." Walking through it feels like following a path of flowers leading to the starry sky, with a fantastical scene of multicolored light spreading out.

New Area: "Bamboo Mirror Pond" (竹彩の鏡池)
A bamboo grove lit in rainbow colors is reflected on the surface of the boat pond, as if another world were spreading out inside a mirror. Visitors can stroll leisurely around the pond and enjoy the light shimmering on the water and the colorful scenery.

"Pasture of Beginnings" (はじまりの放牧場)
Passing through the gate leads to a pasture of light. Illuminations modeled on the capybaras, sheep, Jersey cows, and goats raised in the park greet visitors. The capybara illumination is modeled on the capybaras raised at the park and was custom-made, making it an original illumination found only at Harvest Hill.

"Sequoia of Colors" (色彩のセコイア)
In this plaza, colorful LED lights sparkle all the way up to the top of a metasequoia more than 15 meters tall. Beneath the sequoia tree are glowing round stools, making it a photo spot where visitors can sit and take pictures.

"Gathering Yamamomo" (集いのヤマモモ) and the Christmas Market
Buildings are lit up around a large yamamomo (Japanese bayberry) tree glowing gold. More than 200 lanterns hang overhead, and a light show in which the colors change to the music is held once every 15 minutes.
The plaza has huts (wooden cabins) and food shops styled after a Christmas market, selling freshly baked pizza, house-made smoked chicken, Christmas goods, and more.

"Swirl Tunnel" (うずまきトンネル) and "Bridge of Light" (光の架け橋)
In the "Swirl Tunnel," lights in five colors undulate in bands as they illuminate the inside of the tunnel, creating the illusion of having wandered into the light. It is also popular as a photo spot.
The "Bridge of Light" is a 130-meter suspension bridge connecting the Town Area and the Village Area. Its dazzlingly bright lines of light are beautiful even when seen from the outside and catch the eye of visitors.

"Crystal Mountain" (クリスタルマウンテン)
A fantastical area where translucent reindeer figures sparkle, changing color depending on the viewing angle. Together with the blue light spreading across the ground, the scenery feels like wandering into a world of ice.

"Blue Forest of Falling Stars" (星落ちる青の森)
The trees on both sides of the path are dyed entirely blue, creating an immersive area that feels like stepping into a glowing blue forest. Further along the path, a fantastical light display appears, as if a meteor shower were pouring down.

"Light Playground" (光の遊び場)
A popular area with interactive displays that children can enjoy, such as glowing seesaws and light steps and a piano that make sounds when stepped on. In the flower dome on the top level, pressing the button inside starts a flower-petal fortune-telling display.

"Light Attractions" (光のアトラクション)
In the paid amusement ride area, the grass slide, novelty bicycles, Ferris wheel, and more are lit up and open for business. Visitors can enjoy themselves in the light, including the rainbow-glowing sliding surface of the grass slide and the bicycle course.

Sylvanian Families Collaboration
This year, a collaboration illumination with Sylvanian Families also appears.
On a stage with a glowing giant Christmas tree and at cute photo spots, visitors can take memorable photos with the Sylvanian Families friends.
