New High School! Kimengumi Character Perfume Collection Now Available

A new perfume line inspired by the TV anime High School! Kimengumi is here, courtesy of fragrance importer and retailer FAIRYTAIL Co., Ltd. (Minato City, Tokyo).

Sales begin September 25 through the company's online store DREAMING PRINCESS, as well as on Amazon and Rakuten Ichiba via its Fragrance Fantasy shop.

About High School! Kimengumi

The original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in 1980 under the title 『3年奇面組』. As the characters advanced to high school, the series was renamed "High School! Kimengumi" — an unconventional format that became a massive hit. A TV anime adaptation followed in 1985, sparking a huge boom.

Synopsis

Rei Ichido, Go Reietsu, Kiyoshi Shusse, Jin Daima, and Dai Monohoshi are five students at Ichio Junior High School. Having each repeated a grade, their eccentric, larger-than-life personalities have made them a well-known and respected group on campus: the "Kimengumi."

Transfer student Yui Kawa, together with her classmate Chie Uru, spots the Kimengumi and becomes curious about them, eventually joining in on their antics.

Ichio Junior High is also home to other colorful groups: the "Iro'otokogumi," popular with girls and led by Sho Kireide; the delinquent "Bangumi," led by Yo Nihiruda; the sporty "Udegumi," led by Kai Undo; and the tough girl gang "Omegumi," led by Jako Amano.

Time flies by since their first meeting, and the group heads into a new spring...
