A new sightseeing boat service will begin operating around Hiroshima Castle's moat on October 25, 2025 (Saturday).
Hiroshima Castle was built by Mori Terumoto in the late Warring States period, and the city of Hiroshima developed around the castle. The sightseeing boat offers visitors a unique perspective to appreciate the castle's history, allowing them to view the massive stone walls and seasonal scenery from the water—a different experience from viewing the castle from land.
Whether visiting Hiroshima as a tourist or as a local resident, this boat ride provides a relaxing way to enjoy the beauty and history of the castle, known as "Carp Castle" (Rijō).
