Hololive Fantasy Battle, a 2.5D versus action game developed by G-Blossom Co., Ltd., launched for Steam and Nintendo Switch on August 7, 2026 (Friday), under CCMC Corp.'s hololive Production derivative-game brand holo Indie.
To celebrate the release, a seven-day launch sale is also underway, offering the game at 25% off its regular price of ¥2,000, down to ¥1,500.
Komainu's Illustrations Bring hololive 3rd Generation Into an All-Out Battle for the Throne
Hololive Fantasy Battle is a cooperative and versus action game for up to four players, in which Usada Pekora, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine battle for the "Queen's Throne," a prize that grants a wish.
All talent illustrations in the game are newly drawn by illustrator Komainu. Players team up with hololive 3rd Generation's expressive cast, making use of each character's distinctive attacks and stage gimmicks to aim for victory.
Enjoy Up to Four-Player Co-op and Versus Action With Simple Controls
The basic controls are just move and attack. Picking up an Akasupa Weapon (a red super weapon) that drops during play dramatically changes a player's attacks, and triggering Solo Live — a skill unique to each talent — opens the door to a comeback. These and other mechanics come into play as players fight their way through each stage.
The game offers strategic battles that make full use of each talent's unique abilities and field gimmicks. In the Online Battle versus mode, up to four players face off in an intense free-for-all. In the solo/co-op Fake Hunter mode, players battle fake 3rd Generation members and their fans who are causing trouble in various places. Players can take them on solo with NPC allies, or share and enter a room number to team up with other players online.
The game also includes a feature (救助凸待ち) that lets other players come to the rescue of a fallen teammate. It also supports cross-play between the Steam and Nintendo Switch versions, so players on different platforms can team up and battle together.
Equip Familiar Catchphrases to Turn the Battle in Your Favor
Catchphrase Skills, based on memorable lines from hololive Production talents, appear in the game as equippable items. Equip catchphrases with offensive or defensive effects to build a battle style suited to your favorite talent and playstyle.
The game also includes many Collab Catchphrases featuring talents outside the 3rd Generation, such as Tokino Sora's "Well then... you're an enemy?" and "Watch closely" from ラプラス・ダークネス.
Combining character skills with field gimmicks lets players find their own path to victory.
In the solo/co-op Fake Hunter mode, players battle fake 3rd Generation members and their fans who are causing trouble in various places. Players can challenge them solo with NPC allies, or team up with friends and other players in online co-op play.

Additional costumes that further highlight each talent's appeal are also planned for future updates.
Dressing favorite talents in different outfits brings a fresh look and atmosphere to co-op and versus battles.
Developer Comment From the G-Blossom Hololive Fantasy Battle Development Team
We're the Hololive Fantasy Battle development team, and we turned Komainu's art of hololive 3rd Generation into a game where they get to cut loose.
We originally planned to share animations across characters to keep development efficient. But before we knew it, almost every character ended up with original expressions, movements, and attacks.
On top of that, we ended up adding Catchphrase Skills and a co-op PvE mode that were never part of the plan, simply because making them was so much fun. ...Why did it turn out this way? No one on the team really knows.
We'd be happy if playing the game lets you feel that we had fun making it. Thank you very much!
