Hotel Ijikasou, operated by the Otsuka Corporation Hotel Group in Toba City, Mie Prefecture (General Manager: Akihiro Yamagiwa), begins offering new accommodation plans from July 8. The lineup includes a women-only "Retreat Toba Girls' Trip Plan," limited to two rooms per day, which comes with a set of beauty brand ReFa's shower head, hair dryer, straight iron, and curl iron in an ocean-view Western-style room, as well as a stay plan bundled with the ever-popular Toba Aquarium admission ticket. Guests can experience the retreat concept at the heart of the hotel in Toba, Mie.

New Plan 1: ReFa Relaxation Retreat - Toba Girls' Trip Plan

A special plan limited to two rooms per day, women only, featuring a set of beauty brand ReFa's shower head, hair dryer, straight iron, and curl iron. Guests can unwind body and mind with the ocean view from their room, a massage chair, the hot spring, fine dining, and ReFa beauty items.

Nearby Sightseeing Spot for a Girls' Trip: Ishigami-san / Shinmei Shrine (about 16 minutes by car from the hotel)

Ishigami-san, located along the approach to Shinmei Shrine in Osatsu-cho, enshrines the deity Tamayorihime-no-Mikoto.

It has long been said that "if it's a woman's wish, Ishigami-san will grant at least one," drawing many women who come to pray.

New Plan 2: Toba Aquarium Admission Ticket Stay Plan

Toba Aquarium is an indoor aquarium where visitors can meet dugongs, said to be the model for mermaid legends and found nowhere else in Japan. It also houses more than 1,200 species, including sea otters and finless porpoises, making it the most popular spot in Toba.

This plan comes bundled with an admission ticket to Toba Aquarium.

The hotel's most popular course, featuring Ise lobster and abalone, centers on sashimi of Ise lobster and sake-steamed live abalone as part of a kaiseki course. Natural Hot Spring "Misaki no Yu"

Renewed in July 2025. The hot spring "Misaki no Yu," which wells up from the hotel grounds, is a soft-to-the-touch calcium-sodium chloride spring. Guests can relax while taking in the vast ocean spreading out below.

The sauna, available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, is also recommended for guests looking to reach a state of deep relaxation.

Observation Deck - Ijika Lighthouse Terrace

A semicircular observation deck spreads out in front of the 3rd-floor front lobby.

From here, guests can see as far as the Atsumi Peninsula and Kamishima Island, taking in the scent of the sea along with the waves breaking below.

Under the open sky, guests can sit back in the deck chairs and enjoy time passing slowly.

The lobby marks its 1st anniversary since renewal. With floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean, it is a bright space with sweeping views.

Guests can enjoy a welcome drink or an after-dinner coffee while taking in the vast ocean view.

The restaurant also marks its 1st anniversary since renewal. With floor-to-ceiling windows on the ocean side, it is a bright, open space.

Beyond the windows are islands floating in the vast ocean, white waves breaking on the rocks, and birds flying across the open sky. Guests can enjoy their meals along with the wonderful view.
