Hotel Metropolitan Haneda, located at Tenkubashi Station — just one stop from Haneda Airport Terminal 3 — is offering a limited-time upgrade to its "CO₂ Zero STAY® Plan" from April 15 to August 31, 2026.
The plan, which has been available since October 2025, offsets the CO₂ emissions generated during a guest's stay through carbon offsetting, effectively bringing the net emissions to zero. Each booking includes a carbon offset fee of ¥330 (tax included) per person per night.
Previously, the plan came with two gifts: a hotel-issued "Offset STAY Certificate" as proof of the guest's environmental contribution, and a hotel-original "Bamboo Cup" — an eco-conscious lidded cup made with bamboo fiber material. For the spring and summer season, a third benefit has been added: a 350ml can of "Yamagata Cherry Craft Lager," available as a limited-time gift through August 31, 2026.
The "Yamagata Cherry Craft Lager" is an upcycled craft beer brewed from off-spec cherries grown in Yamagata Prefecture — fruit that could not be shipped due to poor weather conditions — along with surplus rice from JAL airport lounges and JR East Tohoku Division staff canteens.
