Hotel Nikko Alivila (Yomitan Village, Okinawa Prefecture / General Manager: Koichi Nakajima) will hold "las luces," a winter-only event season, from November 1 (Sunday), 2026, to February 28 (Sunday), 2027. During the season, guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a variety of events that add color to Christmas and the New Year holidays.
The season features illuminations lighting up the patio (courtyard), a Santa Claus delivery service that brings presents to guests' rooms, and fireworks and Ryukyu performing arts to mark the start of the new year, along with other seasonally limited events, offering a special resort experience unique to winter in Okinawa.

Patio Illumination
Candle-colored illuminations bring a warm, dreamlike atmosphere to the patio and poolside. The illumination uses LED bulbs and is lit using environmentally friendly "green power" generated from solar power.

Santa's Present Delivery
Santa Claus delivers presents received in advance to guests' rooms, helping create a special Christmas memory with loved ones.
Period: December 23 (Wednesday) to 25 (Friday), 2026
Hours: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in 30-minute intervals
Notes: Presents can be mailed in advance or handed over on the day; they will be delivered at the room entrance.
Reservations: Expected to open on the official website from 10:00 AM on October 1 (Thursday)
New Year Fireworks
Environmentally friendly fireworks light up the night sky over Alivila to mark the start of 2027.

Time: 12:00 AM (approximately 3 minutes)
Location: Sky to the left facing the beach
Notes: Viewing within the resort area is limited to hotel guests. The event may be cancelled in case of bad weather.
New Year Performances
Ryukyu dance, lion dance, and other lively New Year performances take place on the poolside stage.
Period: January 1 (Friday, holiday) and 2 (Saturday), 2027
Hours: From 10:00 AM (approximately 30 minutes)
Location: Garden pool, stage in front of the poolside fountain
