iid, Inc., a Tokyo-based company, has begun selling "Dark Auction" through Game-Maid, their bromide-bundled Steam key code sales service. The product launched on Monday, February 16, offering gamers a unique way to purchase and commemorate their game acquisition.
The package is priced at ¥4,950 (tax included). After purchase, buyers receive a print code that can be used at multi-copy machines in participating FamilyMart and Lawson convenience stores (some locations excluded) to output an L-size bromide featuring one design.

About "Dark Auction"
"Dark Auction" is a full-fledged mystery adventure game created by legendary ADV writer Rika Suzuki, known for "Another Code" and "Wish Room," with character design by Kosuke, the manga artist behind "GANGSTA." The game presents a gripping story set in a 1981 castle where a strange auction becomes the center of an unfolding mystery.
The protagonist, Noah, visits a castle to retrieve his father who went to an auction and never returned. There, he witnesses a shocking scene: an underground auction dealing in a dictator's relics. To uncover his father's secrets and the truth, Noah joins the other participants in a peculiar game.
The game's unique feature is its auction system that uses "memories" instead of money as currency. Players explore 3D maps to gather information, then use deduction to correct the participants' vague memories. Success in the auction unlocks the remarkable stories hidden within the items up for bid.
