Background of the Partnership
ONE OFF TOKYO, on the 10th floor of Daimaru Tokyo directly connected to Tokyo Station, is a select shop that embodies both the sustainability of Japan's traditional crafts and new possibilities for contemporary artists. It has offered one-of-a-kind traditional craft artworks since opening in April 2025, with a lineup centered on notable sword-making artists and furniture designers. In this central Tokyo location that draws visitors from across Japan and abroad, the shop is now also carrying a curated selection of traditional crafts chosen by JTOPIA.
JTOPIA has so far delivered works from kilns and traditional craftspeople nationwide through e-commerce. Through this new in-store partnership, visitors can now see and hold the texture and presence of these pieces in person — qualities that can be difficult to convey online.
