Caramel confectionery specialty shop Caramel Ghost House, operated by Sucrey Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Ryoichi Sakamoto; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), is coming to Daimaru Tokyo Store for a seven-day pop-up from September 9 (Wed) to September 15 (Tue), 2026.
Halloween Is Just Around the Corner: The Caramel Ghost Comes to Daimaru Tokyo
Caramel Ghost House tells the small story of a caramel ghost and a black cat named Mel-chan, who conjure up treats together inside a ghost house. Caramel is carefully simmered down and finished with a pinch of tea leaf (tea leaf or tea powder is used in the products), creating refined confections that bring a moment of gentle sweetness to the table.
The pop-up will offer the brand's signature treats, including the crisp, melt-in-the-mouth Caramel Tuile launched in August and the Caramel Nuts Galette, which wraps macadamia nuts and caramel in a buttery sablé. A Halloween-only assortment, the Caramel Party Box, is also recommended for the season.
Visitors to Tokyo Station are invited to stop by and experience the whimsical world of Caramel Ghost House.

Brand Story

Deep in a quiet forest stands a house where time seems to have stopped.
There, it's said, lived a ghost that shimmered like moonlight, along with a single black cat.
Filling the air with a sweet, toasted aroma, the ghost carefully simmers caramel down, then adds a pinch of tea leaf.
One by one, delicately finished caramel confections come to fill the table.
A moment of happiness found in gentle sweetness — that's what Caramel Ghost House delivers.
