Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the hugely popular manga by Gege Akutami serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The story follows protagonist Yuji Itadori, who swallows a special grade cursed object, Sukuna's finger, and harbors a curse within his soul, plunging into fierce battles between jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits. The series has captivated audiences with its profound worldview, intense storylines, and powerful battle scenes, surpassing 150 million copies in total circulation. The TV anime aired in October 2020 and July 2023, and in December 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, depicting the prequel story, was released in theaters, becoming a massive hit with worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen and cumulative global attendance exceeding 20.51 million people. With the third TV anime season "Culling Game (Part 1)" set to air from January 2026, anticipation continues to build among fans.
The newly launched Jujutsu Kaisen official free channel on ABEMA will broadcast all 47 TV series episodes and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 consecutively for free over 13 days from January 1 (Thursday) to January 13 (Tuesday), 2026.
