Venus Travel, part of the SHK Line Group, has launched a 4-day tour package departing from Shimonoseki Port aboard the Kanpou Ferry. The itinerary combines two standout attractions: the Nakhwanori fire festival held at Haman Mujinjeong Pavilion — a traditional Korean fire event that has been attracting significant attention on social media and in drama productions — and the Hapcheon Image Theme Park, widely known as a filming location for numerous Korean dramas and films.
Haman Mujinjeong Pavilion Nakhwanori: A Breathtaking Traditional Fire Festival
The Nakhwanori is a traditional Korean fire festival held at Mujinjeong (무진정), a Joseon-era pavilion in Haman. Charcoal powder packed inside hemp sacks is set alight, and the bursting embers cascade down over the water's surface in a spectacular display. Travelers on this tour can witness this enchanting night scene up close and take in the spectacle at their leisure.

Hapcheon Image Theme Park: Step into the World of Korean Dramas
The Hapcheon Image Theme Park is one of Korea's largest film theme parks, faithfully recreating the streets of Seoul from the 1930s through the 1980s on a grand scale. The park has served as a filming location for countless acclaimed productions, including Seoul 1945, Age of Heroes, Gaksital, East of Eden, Brotherhood, Into the Fire, The Man of White Porcelain, Light and Shadow, Love Rain, Jeon Woo-chi, Capital Scandal, The Age of Shadows, The Last Princess, Operation Chromite, and Queen Seondeok, among many others. Films featuring Japanese actors were also shot here, including My Way (starring Jang Dong-gun and Joe Odagiri), A Boy Called H (starring Yutaka Mizutani), and The Olympic's Ransom (starring Kenichi Matsuyama).

A Relaxed Overnight Ferry Journey by Kanpou Ferry
The tour uses the Kanpou Ferry for the round trip between Shimonoseki Port and Busan Port. The ferry departs in the evening, giving travelers time to enjoy their time onboard before settling into their cabins and waking up in Busan the following morning. It's a leisurely way to cross to Korea, offering a travel experience quite different from flying.
