KING of Performai The 8th, the official national tournament for the arcade music games maimai でらっくす, CHUNITHM and ONGEKI, is about to begin. The tournament will also be held simultaneously for the International versions of maimai DX and CHUNITHM, which are in operation in Asia and other regions.
The national finals will be held in front of a live audience at Tokyo International Forum Hall B7. At a larger-scale venue than last year, spectators can watch and cheer on matches in all three titles in person, and programs for attendees are being prepared again this year. Details on the live-audience event and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
The online qualifier, the entry point to the tournament, starts on October 29, 2026 (Thursday), simultaneously for the domestic and International versions. The official website has been launched ahead of the start of the qualifier, and entries are being accepted in sequence. Anyone can enter from a store that has a supported machine installed. Bonuses are also available just for taking part in the qualifier.
