The KochiKame Museum (located at 3-32-17 Kameari, Katsushika, Tokyo) welcomed its 100,000th visitor on March 7, 2026. The milestone visitors were the Urakawa sisters, who arrived at around 1:00 PM that day — one traveling from Chiba Prefecture and the other from Hyogo Prefecture.
Having grown up watching KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops together under the influence of their older brother, the sisters were surprised to be the landmark guests. "I never expected to be chosen. Congratulations on reaching 100,000!" they said with delight.

Staff welcomed the pair with a round of applause, presented them with flowers, took commemorative photos, and gifted them an assortment of museum merchandise to mark the occasion.

About the KochiKame Museum
The KochiKame Museum opened on March 22, 2025, based on the concept that protagonist Kankichi Ryotsu built a memorial hall on top of the police box without permission — straight out of the beloved manga KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops. The facility lets visitors experience the world of the manga and the local charm of Kameari through a range of immersive exhibits and hands-on booths. Whether you are a longtime fan or new to the series, there is plenty to enjoy.
