About the KochiKame Museum

The KochiKame Museum opened on March 22, 2025, based on the concept that protagonist Kankichi Ryotsu built a memorial hall on top of the police box without permission — straight out of the beloved manga KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops. The facility lets visitors experience the world of the manga and the local charm of Kameari through a range of immersive exhibits and hands-on booths. Whether you are a longtime fan or new to the series, there is plenty to enjoy.
