The Komugi no Dorei Taiki Main Store in Taiki Town, Hokkaido, will operate as a raw donut specialty shop for a limited time from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, December 27, 2026. The shop is teaming up with UNI DONUTS, a raw donut specialty shop from Yokohama.
During this period, regular bread sales are suspended. The shop will sell six kinds of raw donuts, known for the gentle sweetness of a dough kneaded with pumpkin and a soft, melt-in-the-mouth "raw" texture.
To mark the opening, the first 100 customers each day from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25 can get one "Whip" donut for free by adding the Komugi no Dorei official LINE account as a friend and showing the coupon in store.
A New Draw for a Town of About 5,000 People
Komugi no Dorei is an entertainment bakery that aims to energize local communities. It was born in 2020 in Taiki Town, Hokkaido, which has a population of about 5,000. Starting from the first store in Taiki, it has expanded across Japan, and its signature "Zakkuzaku Curry Bread" has sold a cumulative 6 million pieces.
In May 2026, the Taiki Main Store also ran a new 100-day limited concept called "Pizza no Dorei" to bring fresh buzz to Taiki, the town where the brand was born. Following the pizza shop, the next project is a collaboration with UNI DONUTS, making its first appearance in the Tokachi region. UNI DONUTS is a raw donut specialty shop that grew out of the Yokohama cafe and roastery UNI COFFEE ROASTERY.
Using the existing store facilities, the Taiki Main Store will run as a raw donut specialty shop for about two months. By offering a different kind of sweets than usual, the project aims to give both local residents and visitors from outside the town a reason to stop by, and to bring more activity to Taiki.

The defining feature of UNI DONUTS is its soft "raw" texture that melts in the mouth. The dough, developed by patissiers through repeated trial and error, is carefully kneaded with pumpkin to bring out the natural sweetness of the ingredient. The cream is also balanced against the dough, so the donuts can be enjoyed without tiring of them until the last bite.
