What Is Project ZETA?
Project ZETA is an online competitive action game in a genre called "Multi-Team Tactical Arena (MTA)." Four teams of three players each — 12 players in total — enter the same map and compete simultaneously in real time. Unlike traditional two-team hero PvP games, the standout feature is a four-team structure where all teams clash at once on a single map.
Prism Capture Gameplay
Teams fight to secure an in-map object called the "Prism" and return it to a designated base first. Traditional lane-based combat is absent, resulting in consistently dense, fast-paced battles throughout each match.
PvE and PvP in One
Built on a third-person shooter (TPS) foundation, players use hero-specific skills to engage in both monster-hunting progression elements (PvE) and live combat against other teams (PvP) at the same time.
Diverse Heroes and Strategic Depth
The game includes 14 heroes spread across 4 classes. Victory isn't determined by aiming alone — battlefield reads, evasive maneuvers, skill management, and team coordination all factor into the outcome.
Quick and Accessible Matches
Each match runs approximately 20 minutes. Controller support is included, and cross-platform play between PC and console is planned for a future update.
Built Alongside Players: Open Development
Project ZETA follows an "open development" approach, gathering player input from the early stages of the game's development. Play data and feedback collected during this global community test will feed into game balance improvements and future development decisions.
NIRVANANA Studio representative Kim Nam-suk said: "Following Korea and China, we are very excited to have players from Japan, North America, Europe, and around the world get their hands on the game for the first time. We intend to use feedback from regions across the world to continue evolving Project ZETA together with our players."
Project ZETA is aiming for a global early access release in the second half of 2026.
