Starting Friday, October 30, the 2nd floor of Everyday Gyoda (エブリデイ行田店), a crane game specialty store in Gyoda, Saitama Prefecture, will open as a "Crane Game Super" (クレーンゲームスーパー), where players can win daily necessities.
As prices continue to rise, the space offers an entertainment experience that combines "the fun of playing" with "practical usefulness in daily life," supporting the lives of families and local residents.
What Is a Crane Game Super?
The Crane Game Super was born in December 2025 inside Everyday Tamanokuni (エブリデイ多摩ノ国店). It is a "daily-necessities-focused crane game corner" and one of the largest in Everyday's history.
The corner has 133 crane game machines with 266 booths (as of October 8, 2026). Players can win everyday essentials such as vegetables, frozen and refrigerated foods, seasonings, detergent, and toilet paper. The corner also features the "Mottainai Catcher" (もったいないキャッチャー), which helps reduce food loss.

The Tamanokuni corner also has dedicated shopping carts and a bagging area, so players can enjoy winning the items they need in daily life as if they were shopping at a real supermarket.

This unique initiative has drawn attention from the media and has so far been covered, featured, and broadcast in newspapers, on TV, and on web media.
Background and Concept of the Renewal
In recent years, as prices and living costs have risen, a new style that offers "fun plus practical value" has been drawing attention in the entertainment industry as well. Everyday Gyoda will greatly expand the "Crane Game Super" that it had been running in some zones of the store and that was well received, renewing the entire 2nd floor into a supermarket-style space.
The photos below show the Crane Game Super at Everyday Tamanokuni.

Three Highlights of Crane Game Super Gyoda
1. The Entire 2nd Floor Becomes a Supermarket-Style Space With a Wide Selection
Special shopping carts will be available on the floor. The lineup ranges from retort foods, cup noodles, canned goods, and seasonings to fresh vegetables and fruit and daily necessities such as tissues and detergent, creating the excitement of feeling as if you were shopping at a real supermarket.

2. Reassuring for Beginners and Families With Machines Designed to Be Good Value and Easy to Win
Under the motto "even people who are not good at crane games can fully enjoy it," many machines are set to a milder difficulty for winning prizes. Depending on luck and skill, players get a chance to obtain daily items at a better value than buying them at a regular supermarket.

3. Taking On High Prices With "Savings and Leisure Through Experiential Entertainment"
This is not just a game center. It proposes a new way to spend a holiday: go out as a family, play, and pick up tonight's dinner ingredients and daily necessities along the way. It is drawing attention as an initiative that responds to consumers' real needs in an era of high prices.
