Luxury skincare brand La Prairie is updating the SC Concealer Foundation from its Skin Caviar Collection, with the refreshed version going on sale nationwide from Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
The SC Concealer Foundation has long been valued for a distinctive style that combines the skincare benefits of caviar-derived ingredients with foundation and concealer in one product.
This update keeps the same fusion of caviar science and color artistry while raising the foundation's sun protection from SPF15 to SPF30 and refining it toward a richer, smoother feel. The container has also changed from plastic to glass, and the reworked formula and packaging together aim for an even, polished, well-defined complexion.

The foundation contains a caviar-derived ingredient¹ and Cellular Complex™², conditioning the skin comfortably while naturally covering uneven tone and areas of concern for an even, polished complexion. A concealer with its own brush is set into the bottle cap; layering it over the foundation achieves a finely finished, dimensional look.

Sun protection raised to SPF30
The foundation's sun protection has been updated from SPF15 to SPF30, guarding skin against daytime UV exposure.
A richer, smoother feel
A new "S" formula gives the foundation a smooth, rich texture that blends comfortably into skin, conditioning it beautifully and leaving a refined, lustrous finish.
The formula has also been updated to be silicone- and microplastic-free.
A new glass-bottle package
Keeping its elegant design, the container has changed from plastic to a more environmentally conscious glass bottle, finished with the brand's latest logo in a design that reflects La Prairie's aesthetic.

How to Use
SC Foundation S
Shake lightly before use, dot a small amount onto the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, and blend with a sponge. For fuller coverage, blend with fingertips instead.
SC Concealer S
For uneven tone or spots that need firmer coverage, apply over the foundation with a fingertip and blend with the dedicated brush.
To cover a wider area naturally, apply it before the foundation and blend with a fingertip or sponge. Using a shade one tone lighter than the foundation as a highlight also brings out a more dimensional look.
