Finnish design house Marimekko, operated by Look Corporation, introduces a new bag series from its playful basics line, Marimekko Kioski. The Onni Bag collection launches with a pre-order period on ZOZOTOWN starting February 6, before general sales begin on February 13.
The new bag series embodies Marimekko's joyful and positive lifestyle philosophy, featuring two of the brand's most iconic prints: Maija Isola's Unikko (poppy) and Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi's Piccolo (stripe).
Three Distinct Styles
The collection offers three playful styles, each featuring the iconic rounded Marimekko logo patch sewn onto the front:
Iloisa Crossbody Bag – Compact and versatile crossbody design
Kavari Shoulder Bag – Spacious shoulder bag with multiple compartments
Metka Tote Bag – Practical tote with adjustable silhouette
Color options include the signature Unikko print in light pink, black & gray, and spicy red, plus the popular archive Piccolo stripe in red & blue.

Thoughtful Design Details
Each bag in the collection is designed with attention to functionality. The Kavari bag features three compartments, while the Iloisa bag has two, both with zipper closures. The adjustable shoulder straps include thin padding at the shoulder area for enhanced comfort.
The Metka tote bag stands out with its drawcord opening, allowing the bag's silhouette to be adjusted. When cinched, the tote transforms into a new shape, combining practicality with playful design.
