Miyako Hotel Amagasaki Launches Canal Cruise Stay Plan to Discover the City from the Water

Miyako Hotel Amagasaki has launched a new stay plan that pairs an overnight stay with a canal cruise experience, available from March 19, 2026. The plan offers guests a chance to view Amagasaki from the water, taking in the city's industrial factory district and the Ami Lock — the first lock gate in Japan to be built using the Panama Canal system.

Amagasaki Canal Cruise

The cruise is operated by Mukogawa Tosho ("Amagasaki Canal Cruise") and departs at 10:00 AM on the checkout day, offering a perspective that blends dramatic factory scenery with calm waterside views. Optional activities such as sea fishing and barbecue are also available at the site for guests who wish to extend the experience (not included in this plan; separate reservation required).
