The Ver.1.4 major update for MONGIL: STAR DIVE, the latest action RPG for smartphones and PC (developed by Netmarble Monster Inc.), has been rolled out. It adds the new 5-star character Isabella, Episode 7 and a new area, along with new content and half anniversary events.
New 5-Star Character "Isabella" Arrives
Isabella is an ice-attribute 5-star character. A genius engineer, she once helped many people with her outstanding skills but now devotes herself to her own research. Through the event story "境界を超える放浪者たち", players can enjoy Isabella's hidden story.
Event-exclusive items earned in event stages and missions can be exchanged for a variety of rewards, including summon tickets.
Episode 7 and a New Area Now Available
The update adds Episode 7, "灰色のゆりかごを揺らす子守歌", and a new area. The new area features 29 new "モンぷらん" and 15 new "リンクチェーン".
A new legendary monster who longs to ascend, "ソーリン", also appears, offering players a new challenge with a variety of attack patterns.
New Content "属性の聖域" and AR Photo Mode
Ver.1.4 introduces "属性の聖域", a new content mode where players defeat bosses to unlock and develop new passive skills for each character. It also adds an AR Photo Mode feature that lets players enjoy in-game characters against a real-world background.
Half Anniversary Events and Rerun Pickups
To mark the update, the events "イザベラと一緒にスペシャルミッション" and "イザベラの7日間プレゼント" are being held, offering summon tickets, growth materials and more.
To celebrate the half anniversary, a special login pass and special missions are also being held. Rewards include a commemorative profile frame and a variety of other items. Rerun pickups for the characters and artifacts of "ミーナ" and "ナレ" are also taking place.
