About Mononoke
Mononoke has been cherished by fans since its original television broadcast in the 2000s. A brand-new theatrical trilogy began in 2024. The first film, Mononoke the Movie: Kasa, recorded an extraordinary long theatrical run. The second film, Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 2 - The Fire Rat, was released in March 2025 and earned praise not only in Japan but also won the Audience Award for Best Animated Feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada for two consecutive years.
