Moomin Arabia Expands "Mystical Forest" Glassware Collection with New Items

Moomin Arabia, the Finnish lifestyle brand carried by Fiskars Japan, is adding new items to its Mystical Forest (Forest of Mystery) collection — the brand's first full-lineup glassware collection — starting July 29, 2026 (Wednesday).

The new lineup includes a footed serving bowl for desserts and snacks, a candle holder for tea lights, and kitchen items such as a pot holder, kitchen towel, and mitt. The translucent glassware and cool, refreshing color palette capture the playful world of Finn Family Moomintroll, bringing a touch of enchantment to summer tables and everyday life.

An Enchanted Forest World Rendered in Glass

Inspired by Tove Jansson's 1948 novel Finn Family Moomintroll, Mystical Forest is Moomin Arabia's first full-lineup glassware collection, launched in 2024.

The collection's clear, green, and blue tones are accented with delicate embossing and exquisite details evoking the world of the story. As the glassware catches and refracts light, its appearance changes depending on the time of day and setting, bringing a fresh, cooling presence to tables and living spaces.

Moomin Arabia also prioritizes sustainability and quality craftsmanship built to last. The glassware is produced at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland — with over 100 years of history — where generations of inherited craftsmanship and refined design bring the story's world to life in beautiful form.

The Mystical Forest collection depicts iconic scenes and characters from Finn Family Moomintroll.

Among the scenes rendered in delicate detail: Thingumy and Bob showing Moomin the King's Ruby that they had been hiding in their suitcase, and Moominhouse transformed into a jungle by the mysterious power of the Wizard's Hat.
