Nakabayashi Co., Ltd. is adding a Moomin-themed design to its popular "LIFESTYLE TOOL" paper box storage series. The new "Lifestyle Tool Moomin House" collection is set for a nationwide launch in late April 2026, with a limited early release at Loft stores and the Loft online store beginning in late March.
The Beloved Moomin House Illustration
The Moomin House is one of the most iconic settings in the Moomin stories — the largest building in Moominvalley and a symbol cherished by fans around the world.
The design brings together Moomin, Little My, Snufkin, and a host of other familiar characters from the series. Open the box and you'll find additional illustrations of the characters enjoying everyday life on the inside. There may even be a character hiding quietly inside one of the inner pockets — worth a look!
About the "Lifestyle Tool" Series
The "Lifestyle Tool" series is a line of paper box storage products with a clean, simple form that blends naturally with desk and bookshelf interiors. The interior features multiple pockets of varying depths and widths, making it easy to organize stationery, cosmetics, first-aid items, and other small accessories.
When not in use, built-in magnets keep the box securely closed, hiding the contents neatly inside. The box can also be carried with the lid closed, making it a handy option for those working in hot-desking environments without a dedicated desk.

When closed, the File type resembles a document folder and can stand upright on a bookshelf or desk. An included title card can be inserted on the spine to note the contents for easy identification.
