Mushi Master! 3 Receives Major Update and Launches Renewal Campaign

Morimirai Inc. has released a major update for their insect exploration and collection game app "Mushi Master! 3." To celebrate the renewal, a special commemoration campaign is now underway.

This update primarily focuses on renewing the "exploration mechanics."

The main changes include:

① Changed Unlock Rules for Exploration Spots and Areas

② Added Exploration Gimmicks

③ Revised Exploration Fever Specifications

④ Other Changes

① Changed Unlock Rules for Exploration Spots and Areas

The spot level-up system (which increases new exploration spots and insect appearances) has been changed to an active player action where players manually execute "Spot Level-Up."

Level-ups can be performed by meeting the "number of insect species discovered" requirement and consuming "Research Data" and "Material Items."

Additionally, Research Data is now treated as "common across all spots."

Previously, raising a spot's level required repeatedly exploring that specific spot to collect research data. Now, players can collect data by exploring any spot they prefer.

(There's no longer a need to continue exploring a spot after completing all its insects)

Furthermore, this renewal introduces a specification change where "exploration areas unlock based on spot level."

Many new exploration areas and insect species have been added to each spot.

Exploration spot atmosphere has been visualized

※ Each exploration spot's level and discovered insect count are maintained from the previous version

※ Research data that was partially accumulated in the previous version is converted to "Research Data" items during the update

② Added Exploration Gimmicks

New insect exploration gimmicks have been added, including leaf flipping, mole whacking, and areas where only high-speed flying insects appear.

Additionally, elements requiring strategic thinking about insect selection have been added, such as areas with only specific obstacles or areas accessible only by certain insects.

Before tackling exploration, consider which insects to bring along for the best team composition.

③ Revised Exploration Fever Specifications

Previously, fever (increased insect and item appearances) occurred once after a certain number of explorations. After the renewal, "fever occurs at specific times for each spot."
※ For example, at Park Plaza, fever occurs on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

In addition to steadily accumulating explorations daily, players can now adopt strategies like never missing fever time. Please take advantage of this feature.

④ Other Changes

■ Event Spots

Event spots (such as "Okinawa Forest" and "Time Attack Village") have been discontinued, and insects that previously appeared only in event spots now appear in city exploration.

Note that "Okinawa Forest" has been changed to a limited-time exploration spot. (It becomes accessible after clearing "Thicket")

■ "Next Goal" Now Visible on Home Screen

■ Added Item Packs to Shop

Additionally, video-based point acquisition in the shop has been discontinued and replaced with item packs obtainable through video viewing.

Along with the above, multiple improvements and feature additions have been implemented.

Renewal Commemoration Campaign
