Why Do They Look Flat? The Secret Behind 2D Painting
The surprising visual effect — making a 3D object appear completely two-dimensional — comes from precisely calculated "2D painting" applied directly to the figure's surface. The way light hits, shadows fall, and anime-style highlights are placed is all pre-painted onto the sculpture itself. Unlike traditional figure painting, the result is a character that looks like a still frame from an anime, standing in the real world.

② Palette Masters Katsuki Bakugo U.A. High School Uniform 2D Ver. 1/8 Complete Figure
Childhood friend and classmate of protagonist Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo appears here in his U.A. High School uniform. The figure recreates a casual scene of him walking to school with his hands in his pockets and a sharp gaze, captured in 2D-style coloring that looks like a screenshot from the anime.

③ Palette Masters Tsuyu Asui Hero Suit 2D Ver.
Tsuyu Asui, whose Quirk gives her frog-like abilities, is depicted launching powerfully out of the water. The base features dramatic waves and comic-style lettering. Her distinctive suit, goggles, and gloves are sculpted in fine detail, and the figure includes a swap part allowing a choice between a tongue-out pose and a closed-mouth pose.

Himiko Toga is depicted at the moment her Transformation Quirk activates. The figure faithfully reproduces her armed accessories — including the syringes she uses to consume blood and a knife — all of which can be freely removed. The base features blood-effect parts and a sculptural "SHUK!" sound effect, adding depth to the world of the series.
