The anime park Nijigennomori on Awaji Island is hosting a special nighttime event as part of its ongoing Tanabata Festival. On July 7, 2026 (Tue) — the actual day of Tanabata — NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato will hold the "Tanabata Special Night," a one-night-only experience featuring a character appearance by Naruto Uzumaki.
After sunset, Naruto Uzumaki arrives at Shinobi-Zato for a "stargazing" session. A staff-guided group greeting will take place, followed by a commemorative group photo opportunity with Naruto for all participants.
During the event period, visitors can also write their wishes on specially designed Tanabata strips exclusive to Shinobi-Zato and hang them on bamboo branches set up around the area. This limited-time Tanabata tradition, using original illustrations created specifically for Shinobi-Zato, is a unique way to mark the occasion.
