Facility

GRAND CHARIOT Hokuto Shichisei 135° has 23 guest rooms, each designed as a cocoon-like space. The sunrise and starry sky viewed through skylights over 5 meters high offer a truly spectacular sight. Dining is supervised by Chef Haruyuki Yamashita, who runs 13 restaurants in Japan and abroad, and features dishes centered on ingredients from Awaji Island — long known as a "Miketsukuni," a region that once supplied food to the Imperial Court.

Dining

Under the supervision of Chef Haruyuki Yamashita, a food advisor to Hyogo Prefecture, guests can enjoy cuisine centered on ingredients from Awaji Island, a food treasure trove long known as a "Miketsukuni" that supplied food to the Imperial Court.

Dinner
Guests can enjoy a New Japanese cuisine course supervised by Chef Haruyuki Yamashita, who runs 13 restaurants in Japan and abroad, including one in Tokyo Midtown. Chef Yamashita has been selected as Master Chef two consecutive times at the World Gourmet Summit, where the world's top chefs gather, and his "New Japanese cuisine" makes the most of the natural vitality of each ingredient.
Menu options include sukiyaki made with Awaji beef — of which only around 200 head are available each year — "Sakasa Uni" (fresh sea urchin from Yura, served thanks to its freshness), Awaji Island onions, tomatoes, and plenty of other vegetables, along with seasonal menu choices. *Ingredients may vary depending on the season.

Breakfast
One of the highlights of the stay, breakfast, is available in one of two choices per party: the "Japanese: Awaji Island Mountain and Sea Set" or the "Western Plate."

Japanese: Awaji Island Mountain and Sea Set
Starting with the Grand Chariot "Morning Starter Set," guests can enjoy grilled Seto Inland Sea fish and the signature "Awaji Dashimaki Tamago" (rolled omelet), served alongside freshly cooked Awaji Island rice.

Western Plate
The main plate features four types of Awaji Island-sourced ingredients. This breakfast is crafted with care using homemade ingredients, including loin ham made from homemade Awaji Island pork, scrambled eggs made with Awaji Island eggs, and homemade tomato ketchup made with plenty of onions.

Bath

Every room is equipped with a cypress (hinoki) bath, offering the refreshing scent of cypress for a relaxing soak.
