Good Smile Company, which co-develops the smartphone game Nekopara Sekai Connect (also known as Nekokone) with NEKO WORKs, has set September 28, 2026 (Monday) as the release date for the game's Steam version. Following maintenance on August 24 (Monday), the game also received a major update adding new cat character Mayumi and Chapter 6 of the main story, "Sakuragaoka Neko Academy Arc."

Steam Version Releases September 28
The Steam version of Nekopara Sekai Connect will launch on September 28, 2026 (Monday). It supports data linking with the smartphone app version, so players can continue on PC using an existing account. Wishlist registration is now open on the Steam store page for anyone considering picking up the game.
Updates covering the game's world, cats, and various systems will also be posted gradually on the "Steam News" section of the Steam store page.

New Cat Mayumi Joins, Pickup Gacha Now Live
A new cat, ★5 [Uniform] Mayumi (voiced by Asami Seto), has joined Sakuragaoka Neko Academy. A pickup gacha with an increased appearance rate for Mayumi is also running.

Main Story Chapter 6 Added
Chapter 6 of the main story, "Sakuragaoka Neko Academy Arc," along with new main quests, has been added. This chapter brings the Sakuragaoka Neko Academy storyline to a close. A limited-time "Main Story Addition Campaign," offering rewards such as a limited gacha ticket for Mayumi, and value packs useful for training are also available for a limited time.
New Floors Added to VR Cat Tower, Cap Raised to Floor 300
New floors have been added to all four VR Cat Tower variants (Main, Suite, Pop, and Passion), extending them from Floor 201 to Floor 300, where players can take on "Kitchen Car Battles" against serving robots. New collector boards have also been added, along with adjustments to the battle logic in the player-versus-player "Kitchen Car Battle" and other improvements for a smoother experience.
Latest Merchandise
Nekopara Sekai Connect merchandise sold at Comiket 108 and Good Smile Fes 2026 Osaka is scheduled to go on sale at Good Smile Company's official online shop around late September 2026.
