NEMU RESORT, located within Ise-Shima National Park in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, is launching the 6th edition of its popular real mystery game experience starting June 1, 2026. The game challenges guests to crack codes and solve puzzles hidden throughout the hotel grounds to reveal a surprising truth.
A Story Rooted in a Mysterious Discovery
This edition begins with an intriguing find: a photo discovered near an ancient shrine (hokora) deep in the resort's forest. The image shows NEMU RESORT in the year 20XX, but stripped of all its surrounding nature. With the photo dated 2126 — a full century into the future — the question arises: "Could this be what NEMU RESORT looks like 100 years from now?"
Guests take on the role of a NEMU RESORT staff member who stumbles upon this photograph and must explore the hotel, piecing together clues scattered throughout the property to unravel what the mysterious shrine and the photo are trying to reveal.
